Admitted by Insead

最後終於拿到了Insead Fontainbleau campus的offer 了
之前給我新加坡offer
當時覺得並不是我想要的
跟學校爭取到法國
講了幾次無疾而終
本已經規劃了另外的打算明年再衝一次
過了兩個月現在跟我說讓我去
現在我可是有點進退兩難....
不過總是好事一樁啦

因為種種原因後來只申請Kellogg, Wharton, Cornell and Insead
其實真的想去的也只有Kellogg and Insead
其他的有點是essay差不多就順便丟丟
果不其然都沒好下場

人生與職場也在這次的MBA申請之路中出現重大變化
現在的我也只能前進不能後退了

其實我覺得我的經驗算蠻不可取的
可能可以做錯誤示範吧
不過現在自己在看大概也知道問題出在哪了
其實還是essay不夠strong還有interview的重點把握
Insead是我最後一家interview的
所以犯的錯相對少
可能是最還能吊車尾上的原因吧

我本身並不是學商的
雖然一直在行銷的領域工作
但是我一路interview的感覺下來
數字管理的sense與思維構成過程還是b-school最想看到的
也是applicant無法隱瞞的
畢竟最後manage business還是要回到數字面
top school 比較注重這些
一個是數字面一個是策略面
如果不能量化你的成就並且善加包裝
對於interviewer 的問題不能有很清晰的解答過程
其實很難把自己賣出去
畢竟business是很現實的
沒有很實實在在的數字
嘴巴再會說
top school 也不太會理你
最後就是要說服學校
投資你是正確的選擇
能夠幫他們排行加分

Can someone share his/her interview experiences with INSEAD? and how did you prepare for the interview? what kinds of questions were asked in the interview? As I just finished my GMAT exam, I am planning to give a shot to R3 of 2007 January intake. Your assistances and insights will be much appreciated.

I applied for 2007 Jan Frist Round. got interview notice on May 5th. but both interviewers are busy, so I will have interview just these two weeks.
