我的解法是選unnoticed 比較簡潔
不過E為什麼不能用過去完成式我就不太清楚了
雖然那裡的there were 是不必要而且不清楚

1. 以上藍字的部分，看一看覺得huihui300說的有理，virtually unnoticed 比 hardly any notice簡潔
2. (A)(C)(E) there were 無意義，最好不選
3. S＋V.....when S+V......主要子句與附屬子句前後動詞時態要一樣（以前筆記有寫過，等我去找找出去在和大家分享），所以(E)刪

,這句話是無庸置疑的,而went(go)+ adj也是常見的用法之一
然而,我想說的是,這題跟S+V.....when S+V　是一點關係都沒有,
因為這題是S+V until recently ,when S+V 這個(,)對整句結構影響甚鉅
前面的句子已經有時間副詞了,不能在接when了!!所以用,隔開,when只是在補充說明until recently 到底是何時而已!! 而非主要子句與附屬子句的關係

當然,前後時態要一致
