[問題] 有關Internship

想請問目前正在就讀MBA的同學們:

我目前是JHU的MBA學生, 今年2006 Spring入學的, 這個暑假我有可能有個intern的機會, 但是學校的international office說, 必須是我們系上的某個課程需要intern, 然後我去選修了這個課程, 並得到系主任的同意, 才能去intern

我想問問其他學校MBA同學, 你們學校的intern辦法也是這樣嗎? 先謝謝大家的回答!!

If the academic program offers unpaid/paid employment (internship, field experience, or student teaching) in the field of study that is an optional part of the program, this may be used for CPT as long as the other requirements of lawful status are met. The chair of the academic department has to attest in writing that the internship/employment is an optional but integral part of the program and is credit bearing.

通常有經驗的學校會有一門假的實習課，專門用來應付這種情形。
所以你的成績單上會多一門有學分沒成績的假課出來，然後你便以此課程經過系主任批准，申請CPT並前去該公司實習。

何妨請貴校，向有經驗的系所辦事員請教！
