本句並不是因為but連接後時態錯誤

這是平衡的道理

文法上是可以的
前句sipping並非現在分詞或動詞代替連接詞
而是省略主詞

這題我也做錯
但我想
原因是sipping得省略主詞為they
不是後面的she
因為這樣句意才通
"這對夫妻敖夜做研究, 今早they又喝their咖啡提神, 老婆偷偷注意到, 老公已經有點神智不清了(太累)"

尤其是she noticed不應當作插入句
而是she noticed that

於是只好選C了
