個人小小見解,
.....whose members made monthly payments on their share subscriptions and then took turns drawing......

1) 其中 made 跟 took 平行,都是形容主語members.
2) 答案A 中的, then taking turns drawing, taking 未與
made 平行; 且, taking 的主語, 似乎容易誤解成The original building and loan associations 或是 whose members 因此容易產生歧異...　

有誤請指正~

In no.797 the sentence uses the structure of made~and then took~ ;however,in no.799 ,it uses the structure of putting~then installing ~.Why not use putting~and then installing ~ to make sentence parallel??
This question deeply puzzled me.Pls provide some opinions and directions.
