但是上課沒有解釋
想請教各位高手

答案是d 但是真的不了解
可以請大家解釋嗎 其它錯的又在哪呢

我沒有講義,不過我會選D,
(1)用刪除法,reported 放在crimes 後面不佳,因為那結構就變成street crimes which was reported,是不是跟reported street crimes 比就遜掉了呢??畢竟reported只是adj 罷了.A,C消滅.
(2)修辭最高境界...the rise in the number與the rising number之不同,前者主詞是the rise,後者主詞是the number,到底是the rise is a problem還是the number is a problem...想想囉, B 消滅
(3)其實AC還有一個問題,street crimes reported due to (because of )increased X and Y,會讓人誤解為 crimes was reported due to X and Y
翻譯就變成因為增加的失業率和顛沛流離率 導致 crimes 被報導..怪怪的唄...也就是說, 要表達的是,增加的失業率和顛沛流離率 是crime增加的原因, 而非被報導出來的原因...
(4)再來就是increased 和 increasing 的不同,關於這一點,我要翻一下自己的筆記,因為記憶有點模糊了,還是有高手可以回答呢???

答案是D沒錯,樓上的同學把他抄錯了,D選項應是
rise in the number of reported street crimes which is attributable to increased unemployment and homelessness

1. RISE才是problem，非number，因此B刪去。
2. ACD僅僅只是修飾語擺放位置這麼簡單而以，REPORTED置後會修飾到DUE TO，語意不合，這題目是很簡單的修飾與擺放問題。

這題若不是你題目抄錯就是答案錯了，D選項的which 前面既沒有逗號也沒有介詞，是不可能作為正確答案的

which 後 be動詞為單數且crimes多數 , 所以which可以往前指到rise
這樣的話不打","是沒關係的
