(1)為何選B不選A,我不會用文法原則解釋,但用句意來解釋則很清楚.
ex,A is twice as big as B -A是B的2倍大(不知道A到底是多大,只好拿A和B比較)
若.A is 5 inch as long as B-已經說明A 5 inch ,as long as B顯的多餘.否則就要寫成Like B,A is 5 inch .所以,用older than ,則清楚表達比B老2000年.
(2)為何選B不選D,因為their 後面要接 N ,只有adj可以修飾 N ,要把(Mediterranean predecessors)看成是一個名詞.
ex.a hard mathematical formula,an old chinese saying...
另外,supposedly 通常修飾動詞或整個句子
