我記得我那時候這題也是四個答案都不喜歡
(我記得其實我還偏好A一點點,雖然也不滿意)
我做考古題常常全部的答案都不喜歡耶,所以我後來就放棄了哈哈哈

可是很多都回答不了或不確定, 哈哈, 不好意思

以D來說,既然他是標準答案
我想這個impress就是動辭吧,只是是過去式
這樣才會impressed Cortes阿 (Cortes當受辭)

形容詞的話,
形容everything應該會用impressive,
形容Cortes才用impressed(像被動的用法,被impressed)

可是我承認很怪
這樣不是變成類似
He so fascinated her that she wanted to marry him.
好奇怪喔
不是應該是
He fascinated her so much that she wanted to marry him.嗎?

看完解釋還是不太清楚，為何so後面可以接動詞呢？

so 是副詞,副詞可以修飾-形容詞,動詞,副詞本身,及整個句子
impressed是動詞沒錯,
只是我們看習慣了so + adj that ~
林小馬寫到:
He so fascinated her that she wanted to marry him.
He fascinated her so much that she wanted to marry him.
這2句皆可,文法上都無錯.
另, ，hibettychen問:(A)為何不能選
so that 和 so ~that 是完全不一樣的
so that表目地及手段
so ~that 表因果
ex. She worked hard so that everything would be ready by 6 o"clock.
他努力工作是為了想在6點完成
ex. John is so good a boy that I like him.
因為J先生太好了,所以我喜歡他
所以so that不能用在這裡
