之前上課黃豐陽老師是解說介係詞(instead of)後不可以加to V
所以把(A)排除
除了這個地方之外我想請問
(A)的to confine them為什麼不可以跟前面的to allow平衡呢??
翻譯起來就是允許他們回家而不是限制他們

因此to confine them 應該是和to go home做平衡才對.
但主詞都是members of the jury,所以to confine them應該改為to be confined才對.
在(E)裡的to be confined的to被省略了,因為共可以和to go home的to共用.

請問哪裡錯，我知道解答有說明應該是to go home 和 to be confined比
可是為什麼不能像(A)一樣
變成to allow... 和to confine 比呢
解釋成：拒絕一個提議:允許陪審團回家而不是限制他們在旅館

但原本句意應該是Judge Bonham去confine members of the jury,
members of the jury是被confine的,
所以這裡要改成被動式才是對的
