請問一下這一題,

Q22
In triangle ABC, point X is the midpoint of side AC and point Y is the midpoint of side BC. If point R is the midpoint of line segment XC and if point S is the midpoint of line segment YC, what is the area of triangular region RCS?

(1)The area of triangular region ABX is 32.
(2)The length of one of the altitudes of triangle is 8.

我不曉得我的觀念對不對，不過我是這樣做的：
三角形XYC會是三角形ABC的四分之一
這應該是三角形定理中的一個，可是我不確定名稱是那個

三角形RSC是三角形XYC的四分之一

三角形ABX是32=(3/4)三角形ABC
這樣就可以求出三角形ABC 進而求出三角形RSC

可是畢竟沒有個證明覺得虛虛的,
就不太敢肯定,
因為我也不確定這是ㄧ個定理說~

如圖 :
1. ABX面積是32, 可推得BCX 32
2. 因BCX 32, YXC就是16
3. YXC 16, SXC 8
4. SXC 8, SRC 就是4

原理很簡單, 一直透過同一個三角形的底邊是一半, 來推得

how can you know about this? it doesn't tell its a "right triangle" or it doesn't need this condition ?
