我看了一下白勇那本書的解說，然後有題到：
a giant fungus 不能當"動作執行者"，也就是說 B選項的a giant fungus extends "邏輯搭配不合理"

為什麼不能當"動作執行者"？為什麼"邏輯搭配不合理"？
哪位大大可以回答我嗎？謝謝先了？

extend 是形容filigree吧，應該不是a giant fungus

OG:"A" employs the parallel participial phrases spawned... and extending ... to modify filigree.

BTW:有人知道filigree是什麼嗎?怎麼查出來的和文章對不起來

嗯 我覺得，因為這個蕈類，其實不只是一個大香菇 ^^;;，
而是由很多的mushrooms跟tentacles交織而成的，
所以才用filigree(ornamental work)這個字來代表這個giant fungus。
