本題是問說，一個三角形ABC，其中，點X是AC線段的中點，點Y是BC線段的中點，如果點R是XC線段的中點且如果點S是YC線段的中點，則問三角形RCS的面積是多少？(或許題目敘述有點亂，想像一下，等於是把一個三角形切下右下角的一塊，且因為兩邊長都是原本三角形的二分之一，此小三角形的面積剛好是原本三角形的四分之一，然後再切一次，則，小小三角形的面積應該是原本大三角形的十六分之一.....這樣講好像更複雜？)
(1)大三角形的一半(X點是AC的中點，所以ABX三角形的面積是大三角形面積的一半)是32
所以很充分，這樣可以得知大三角形ABC的面積是64，所以小小三角形的面積是4
(2)大三角形其中一邊的高長度是8
不充分，因為不知道三角形的邊長，無法求大三角形ABC的面積，也就無從得隻小小三角形的面積。
故答案選(A)。
