如何請美國籍教授寫推薦信?

我在台灣 以前一位美國籍教授來台授課 但現已返美 我有一年沒聯絡她 請問各位前輩 我要如何用英文E-MAIL給她向她求救 請她寫推薦信?
我英文不好 貿然寫E-MAIL給她 可能不道地
前輩們能不能直接用英文 寫幾句給我參考? 拜託拜託
