Not sure if I am reading your question right? Are you asking about curriculum or are you asking about wanting a career in Finance?

Core Finance Schools: Wharton/Chicago/Columbia/NYU/LBS
Other good schools: MIT/Harvard/Stanford/INSEAD/Yale/Cornell

Finance is a prestige driven industry. MBAs (in general) are asked to fill front office jobs where you have close interaction with clients. (Not much quant skills needed.)

If you want to be a "quant jock," an MBA is not for you. The people who do the heavy duty "quant work" usually have PhDs in Physics, Math & Econ.

推薦柏克萊財務工程是因為我現在是他的學生 他不是MBA 可是是在HAAS 商學院
班上60個人 有16個人有PHD 也有教授 我的背景相較班上同學 算較差的 我只有Bachelor 班上全部都有找到實習 我現在 MSCI 我覺得很值得 去年學班畢業年薪超過130000 USD 參考摟

貴校的MFE課程應該很重視申請人之前的工作經驗的相關性吧
我也曾經考慮過貴校的MFE課程
不過因為沒有相關財務工程的工作經驗(我是平凡的會計背景)
所以只能打消念頭
不知道是不是這樣??
非相關背景的有沒有可能呢?

我的感覺是, 我們program 很注重 學生的就業 , 我想他們挑的人 一方面是看背景 另一方面就是看你的潛力 看你有沒辦法在這邊 的訓練之後 具備足夠的 skill set 去找到很好的工作. 我想你應該具備基本的財務知識
再來就是看你 quantitative skill and programming skill 如何了
