In a stack of boards at a lumber yard, the 20th board counting from the top of the stack is immediately below the 16th board counting from the bottom of the stack. How many boards are in the stack?

(1) 38
(2) 36
(3) 35
(4) 34
(5) 32

Ans : (4) 34

why 不是35, 設 total boards are X (即代表 the top board)
X-20 < 16-0 故 X-20 <16
X 不就是 35 嗎
