收到Duke (Fuqua) interview通知

今天一早，我收到Duke (Fuqua) taipei alimni interview的通知
不知道有沒有其他人也收到這樣的通知？
面試官是 Johnson Yeh （2005 class）
不知道有人瞭解這個人嗎？
第一次要面試，蠻緊張的，還請大家幫忙分享經驗，謝謝

May I ask when did u submit ur applicaiton? I saw on ChaseDream that all the applicants actuallty will be invited to interview, is that true?

i submitted my app on 10/30.
據說Kellogg/ Duke會interview 每一個申請者
但事實上，每年多都有些人拿到interview waive，但是我想既然interview every applicant是學校政策的話，應該會多發一點面試機會吧！
所以可以申請這兩個學校看看！至少有面試機會啦！

Mine was like this:

Thank you for your interest in The Duke MBA. We have received your
application for admission, along with a request for an alumni interview
in Taiwan.

I am still working to accommodate everyone's requests for alumni
interviews. I apologize for the delay. I will update you on or before
Monday, November 27. You will have until Monday, December 3 to complete
your interview.

Due to a limited number of alumni interviewers, I may not be able to
accommodate your request. If I am not, please do not worry or panic.
We do not require the interview for admission to Duke.

Can anyone give me some advices on this, whether to request a Alumni interview in somewhere else like HK. Does that mean my candidacy is not that strong? Any comments

我覺得你可以寫信去問問，看如果換地方面試，說不定會有比較多校友喔！
但是其實Duke的面試，也不一定這麼需要啦！我有聽過有一個人也沒有面試，就直接錄取了！說不定你就是這樣的喔！

我的是這樣的：（看下面）

received your application for admission, along with a request for an
alumni interview in Taipei.

Your interviewer will be Johnson Yeh, a member of the class of 2005 of
The Fuqua School of Business. You may contact him at
＊＊＊＊＊＊（這裡是email）arrange a mutually convenient time for an
interview.

It is your responsibility to contact your interviewer. You must
complete your interview by December 3, 2006. Interviews are 30-45
minutes in length and are conducted in English.

Please keep in mind that you must supply your interviewer with a copy of
your resume prior to your interview (they do not have access to your
application). If you have any questions or problems, please feel free
to contact me by email or phone.

Dear sweetymanman, you are as sweet in tone as it is indicated from your name, haha!!
Believed me or not, I am not the person with such strong background to get an interview waiver but still get the admission. I think the 一個人that u knew are exceptional

What I can do now is to act just like what you said, fight for myself for an inverview. After all I have nothing to lose at all.
