lightsaber \$m[1]:Dear Fujen64,

I really appreciate your timely feedback.

May I ask that who will be a typical fit for HAAS? (If any or according to your knowledge)

What qualities in particular should they possess or demonstrate?

Thank you,
Samuel

Hi,
I am also Haas 07 student. From my experience this 1.5 year, most of my classmates are really laid back and smart. The most important thing is, they really enjoy the team work. I believe that is also one of the traits which our company recruiters appreciate. Besides, Haas also appreciates the value of innovation and corporate social responsibility.

Hope this helps.

chihfei \$m[1]:Hi,

Haas has been one of my dream schools and I'm very interested in the MOT program.
I'd like to put some questions.

1.What's the class size? Do classmates build close network?
2.How about the internship opportunity for Taiwan students?
3.What do you do for extracurricular activities?

Thanks.

1. For the core courses, such as Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Accounting , the class size is around 60 people. For electives, the size depends on the classroom capacity. Usually the size is about 30~40 people. The network is pretty close among domestic students. For international students, I guess you need to have more effort than them no matter in which school.

2. In 2007 class, 10 classmates are directly from Taiwan. 8 worked in US. 1 worked in HK. 1 worked in Shanghai. People who worked in US all worked in technology industry in different functions such as Product management, product marketing and finance.

3. For me, I'm organizing the Asia Business Conference. Students here are really enjoying different activities. Especially, you definitely want to spoil yourself on the beautiful California sunny days!

william700314 \$m[1]:I am quite interested in Haas and want to ask you some questions.

I know that there is an event called Super Saturday.
I think that people are only invited to attend that event for interview.
From the reply of the interviewees, I know that about 75% of the poeple who attend this event will be admitted.
Does it mean that when invited to the interview, the chance to be admitted is high?

Tks for your reply~

Yes, the one day interview is called Super Saturday for the invited applicants. Although the chances are high, you still need to demonstrate your fit for Haas during the interview. The interviewers are 95% of the second years. Yes, they are my classmates. So they know really who are fit for Haas and they do have some pretty personalized questions. On top of that, be yourself is always the best strategy to do the interview.
