If Andy can paint a picture in 2 hours and Paul can paint the same picture in 3 hours, Andy and Paul working together can paint this picture in how many hours???? 正確的答案是 6/5 hours.

Andy can paint a picture in 2 hours
---> Andy一個小時可以完成全部的 1/2

Paul can paint the same picture in 3 hours
----> Paul一個小時可以完成全部的 1/3

這樣子我們知道，如果Andy和Paul work together的話，
那他們一個小時可以完成全部的　1/2 + 1/3 = 5/6

所以他們全部所要花的時間為　１/ (5/6) = 6/5小時
