有人申請Rice University嗎?

各位大大,
小弟我丟Rice University的第二輪，deadline是1/22日，到目前為止都沒有收到任何消息，包括有沒有收到我寄的申請文件；同一時間的學校至少都和我連絡過了，就只剩這一間沒有而已，上網看線上申請系統，也只看到submitted而已，完全查不到現在的進度，不知道有沒有那位大大和我一樣有申請Rice的?可以分享一下自己的情況嗎?

雖然我有有申請,但也一點消息也沒有!

不過那天電話面試時我就覺得我講的很不順~~整個慘~~

I have applied rice and submitted my application on 1/20. Up to now, I get no news from this school. I think I probably will be rejected because my toefl is only 240 and with GMAT660. 2years military service and 3.5 years in semiconductor filed. Do you want to share your background? thank you !

Did you request the interview interview or the school offered you? BTW, I also apply to University of Gerogia(dealine is 2/15). do you know how long the application will be processed in this school? Thank you!

I requested an interview, but they did not invite me.
They just replied that there are no missing materials and the decision will be declared on 3/15.
Maybe I would get the R in a few days ba.......
Does anyone know that an interview is a must or not according to Rice ??

我的interview是學校主動給的
1/15submit application
1/26收到interview invitation
2/13 phone interview

運氣有點差遇到一個冷漠的學生
整個過程不是很順利當下心裡就大不妙~~結果真的不好

你沒回應就還有希望別放棄呀~~

I also received the rejection letter from Rice school this morning....................sad--Sharing my background

(1)' toefl is only 240. <---major weak point
(1) 2years military service and 3.5 years in manufacturing industry as an engineer (global Company)
(2) GMAT660
(3) Double majors in NCKU
(4) GPA:2.9<---also weak point

Rice的interview應該是必須的我聽說過這間學校不太重視GMAT成績但非常重視interview的表現
如果學校在interview跟你談的感覺不錯就會上感覺不好即使成績高也沒辦法
所以我會建議你打個電話繼續跟學校爭取看看(記得你說寫email無法得到回覆)

TOEFL必須250+
這一點學校似乎有自己的堅持

請學校重新考慮錄取資格

因為托福不過有點可惜

很多事情都還有機會
看看要不要爭取一下
