問題1:a portion....不是單數嗎?為什麼是用were而不是用was
問題2:怎麼判斷if後面什麼時候要用過去式,完成式...我一直都搞不懂

think of their collections as capital=>資金是複數N.

強調比率=>複數名詞+複數V

條件句:
if 過去, 過去 would+v
if 現在, 現在
if 現在, 未來 will+v
ABE假設語態,可是都寫錯了,而且句意也不像是假設語態
if s had+pp, s would have pp

capital 依辭意決定單複數
指物品(goods): 複數
指錢(money): 單數
