可以請教一下A為何錯嗎?
是因為第一個their的原因嗎?their應該是指代 Car owners'，若是這樣car owner's tires也沒什麼不對吧??^^" 謝謝指教囉

(A)和(B)的差別是在句意，(A)的最後一句話不合理，increase 不會藉由 underinflation 去 waste up。

另外一個差別在於(A)用了of car fuel，顯然沒有 of a car's fuel 來得好。

我想 (A) 不好在於 since 後面解釋時沒有針對前面提過的重點 "inflate tires", "fuel efficiency", 主詞一開頭就提 friction, 跟前面接不上.
(C) fuel efficiency can waste ... => 不合邏輯
(D) their 應該單數 (=inflation), 句意也奇怪, inflation 有什麼 fuel efficiency 可言? => 不選
(E) 被動少選; fuel 不可數吧!
