我作這題的時候，覺得(E)違反以下幾點：

1.被動不夠簡潔，少選
2.主題改變，原本為Consumers，現在變為household cleaning products
3. by consumers將語句分裂少選

做這一題時, 先考慮到 them 代替誰. 我想的是代名詞優先代替原主詞, (A) (B) 的 them 指代不清, 所以刪除. (C) think ... "as" 不是 being 也刪除 => (D) (E) 選一個.
這樣看來, (E) 很好啊!
(D) 的 them 不但不能如慣例去代替主詞, 也迫使 them 在 cleaning products 和 hazardous substances 之間猶疑, 這樣好嗎?
(E) 的被動我覺得是不得不然,這樣 cleaning products 才能當主詞啊!
(E) 錯;是不是覺得 them 會去代到 consumers; (D) consumers 改成單數, them 當然不會是 a consumer 囉. 重點在這裡嗎?
