每次遇到都不知道怎麼設未知數

題目說Mary&Paul差了15分鐘的車程
(15/60)*50=25/2=>[1/4小時*每小時50公里=Mary&Paul的距離]
所以(25/2)/(60-50)=5/4=>[距離/速率=1 hr 15 min]

不好意思,還是沒看懂上述的式子.
我算的方式是設X小時後Paul趕上Mary,
50X=60X-15
X=1.5hr,
請問我哪裡觀念錯誤了?

50X=60X-15 這邊不可以減15
50X代表距離, 15代表時間, 單位不同所以不能相減.
算式應寫為 50X=60X-(50/4)
X=1.25小時
