Description
Travelling to Taipei expressly for this presentation for RSM Erasmus University alumni and future candidates, Dr. Collins will lead a discussion about Leadership and Globalisation. Traditionally there have been different management styles that have been successful depending on circumstances such as different countries and industries.

However, with the rapid globalisation of many companies and the increasing number of people working outside of their "home nations", an important question is being raised by many managers: In order to successfully lead employees, is there a common "global leadership style" emerging or does a manager need to fully understand the background and culture of each employee? This question will be examined based on recent leadership research and will be discussed by building on the experiences of the audience at the Taipei Information Session. We hope you will join us if you are going to be in Taipei on the 10th of April.

After the session, Dr. Collins will be available to discuss more about the global leadership topic as well as answer questions about the MBA at RSM Erasmus University.

Dr. Bill Collins is a senior academic at the RSM Erasmus University where he teaches Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour. Since receiving his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, Georgia, USA), Bill has also been a Human Resource consultant at Towers Perrin and taught at another top business school in Spain.

Additionally, Ms. Dianne Bevelander, Executive Director at RSM Erasmus University will be presenting and leading a question and answer session around the International Full-time MBA programme. This visit to Taiwan will give qualified candidates the opportunity to have a 1 on 1 personal interview with Ms. Bevelander.
