想做個確認,最後我是選擇 C和E. C和E的別是一個是Messager take four days to reach和另一個是Shots take four days to reach. 以句意好像E比較make sense. However,原句是messenger, 這樣選E有沒有改變原本句意之嫌. 請參考

我覺得C和E的took都不會改變句意，因為他們的主詞都是news

但我有問題的是，C的 'that were sent by swift messenger' 不是比E的 'by swift messenger' 更清楚形容是swift messenger來send這些news嗎?
還是應該想E比C簡潔，所以選E?

麻煩大大幫忙解釋一下E的句型喔~

(C)shots (that sent by swift messenger ) adj cl 修飾 shots 修飾誤置
(E)news (of these shots) took four days by swift messenger to...
sub. verb
news took four days 經快遞送至....
so, (c) and (A)(B) modify error

(C)是N1介N2 that的形式~that也是可以修飾news
如果考慮簡潔似乎是(E)比較好
可是我覺得(C)的句意比較清楚耶~~

首先
要知道 news 是不可數名詞
that were ... 的複數動詞使得that子句變成是去修飾 shots 而不是 news
所以C的句意就錯了

可我有個問題耶
我記得og10有一題講到戴奧辛
照理說戴奧辛是不可數的(莫北北說的)
但og卻應是給它加s~那題的考點在many跟much
我記得當下我馬上刪掉"戴奧辛加s"的配many的選項
但結果卻錯了

所以我在想是不是不太能用自己的主觀認定去判斷呀?
雖然我也同意news不可數!
^^"

還有呀~我自己覺得shots took four days "by swift messenger"很怪
by多半用在被動句型或是表方法手段
在這裡既不是被動也不是方法手段
好怪喔~
個人淺見

但那news也頗有爭議^^"

信差只能送news不會送shots
shots, which were sent by這裡which只能指代shots，因為news是不可數名詞要配單數動詞,所以A選項不合邏輯

that = news 修飾應該沒有問題.
(B) in order to 不簡潔; and 前面不要逗點(改變句意)
