我想 (C) 差不多是這個意思, 但"正(如同)"是 just (跟 as 連用時)的意思. (C) 的 as 含意為"當...時",語意很弱,看起來不翻譯出來也不影響句意.
(B) 的 as 有"作為"的意思( i.e. 正如同作為一個考古學家,...),這麼一來,整句的意思就不太合理.
(E) as 是副詞子句連接詞,動詞改成Ving,省略主詞(主詞在逗點後面),還原之後可以發現句意也不太合理.

這題考:1. 比較要同類(like), 2. as(conj.) vs as(prep.) 做題的時候把 just (adv.) 拿掉,就可以看出 as 原本的含意.
