後來就改選 E wherein 好像有其中 在裡面的意思...
我就把她想成在a formal protocol 中 38個工業國家應該要...

=> 38 industrialized countries must reduce emissions ........ under the protocol 然後用which把protocal代掉，你就會發現要有個under比較順，不然很難連結句子跟protocol的關係

但我想請問一下,若句意來說~by 38 countries~可解釋成這個protocol 是38個國家所簽立的~
所以A的選項是因為by which 38 countries~多了which 是嗎?
若改為"by 38 industrialized countries which must reduce emissions~是不是也可以通??

我覺得上面的同學有點想偏了

妳的意思變成--> 這個條款是由38個(若未在2012年前將廢棄排放量降低就便被懲罰的)工業國所制定的

題目的意思卻是-->這38個工業國在此條款下 若沒有降低廢氣排放量就便會被懲罰

舉個簡單的例子
題目比較像是說--->全班在班規下 若沒有交作業就會被懲罰
妳的意思是 -->全班的班規是由那些沒有交作業就會被懲罰的同學所制定的

那...那不就變成還有另依群人沒交作業也不會被懲罰? 且他們沒有制定班規?

我能體會寫題目到後來腦筋打結的心情...大家加油!

我對 by which 的理解是"藉著"

一個想法: 既然 agreement = protocol, which = protocol, under which = under protocol = under agreement 因為有 penalty, 看起來是 under which 比較合理.

另一個想法, protocol 學電腦的都知道是遊戲規則, by which 順理成章,這題有衝著學理工的缺乏人文法律素養而來的嫌疑!文人相輕,美國老亦若是?
