A和B的 ...in speed 和 (a) 200 feet high 或 (b)heights of up to 200 feet 不平衡...
C和E的 speeds of ~ 和 (c) 200 feet high 或 (e) as high as 200 feet) 也不平衡

這個選項讓我想到一個GWD 1-8那題

其中一個錯誤選項是killer whale, which can grow as big as 30 feet long
當時有人說as big as 錯是因為沒有其他東西可比

所以相同的概念套到這裡， as high as 是多餘的

GMAT 是不是也考一個觀念,像 (A) up to 150 miles per hour => 什麼東西 up to 150 miles per hour ?
(D) 明確交代是 speeds, etc.

E: speeds of ~ 和 as high as 200 feet 不平衡外,
a seismic sea wave can reach as high as 200 feet. (錯誤表達)
a seismic sea wave can reach as high as 200 feet high. (正確表達)....但與speeds of up to 150 miles per hour不平衡.
GWD1-8: killer whale can grow as big as 30 feet long. (正確表達,但改變句意)
*此處as high as, as big as並非比較,而是adv ph 用於強調其量.

對於主詞是 a seismic sea wave還是a tsunami 有點疑問??
就 分詞短語在句首起副詞作用,邏輯主詞等於句子主詞的觀念來看,a tsunami 是 主詞
但就後半句來看 (a tsunami),( a seismic sea wave) that can reach....應該是 a tsunami是同位語,而a seismic sea wave 是主詞(跟OG中馬雅人那題的 結構一樣)
雖然不影響答案的 選擇,但是有哪位高手可以教導如何分辨誰是主詞嗎 ?
