我看不懂OG的解釋，為什麼答案是C，可否再翻譯一下問題的最後一句是什麼意思？因為看不懂，連帶的也無法理解答案。

我是先看到答案再反推回去的.

(a) The exhaust from Palitito's few automobiles is not a signficant threat to Palitito's building. --> irrelevant

(b) Palitito's Renaissance buildings are not threatened by pollution other than engine exhaust. -- > irrelevant

(c) tour bus 到Palitito 花的時間比較少, 所以會造成大家都搭bus來

(d)More tourists come to Palitito by tour bus than by any other single means of transportation. --> 搭巴士的人比較多和廢氣沒有直接關係.

(e)Some of the tour buses that are unable to find parking drive around Palitito while their passengers are visiting a site. --> idled at the curb, not drove around.

所以答案是(c), 不過我之前也猜錯了...

此選我的理解是
Tour buses一般來說花不到1/4時間在Palitito做點對點的載客
也就是說剩下超過3/4都idle at the curb, 在路邊一直排廢氣
所以趕到停車場去有助於減少廢氣 ‧

感謝 lucyyeh 對 (C) 的理解.這句話我看不太懂 they are 到底在說什麼.
they = buses
=> Buses are (...) in Palitito
請教省略的 (...) 是啥?
than 接子句嗎? 還是句子裡省了一個 that?
為什麼不是 they do? (do = spend)
