[8/6] M49 V37 710 在職準備的小小心得與少少JJ

今天下午一點終於結束半年來AT的夢魘，這個分數雖然不算高，但我自己已經非常滿意，由於複習過程中從傷咖中學到很多，分享一點小小心得加上少少JJ。

確定要出國唸書大約是今年年初，因為想要念PhD有和advisor先聯絡過，所以時程上一直有壓力，必須在今年申請。加上在職工作，3月初開始在美加上課，才發現AT是夢魘的開始，五天的課程加上工作把自己壓得快喘不過氣(過去一直天真地認為GMAT應該不難，和TOEFL差不多>__<)。這3個月幾乎完全配合美加的進度走，每個禮拜也跟著模考。這三個月從莫老和徐天后學到很多，不管是課程上或是態度上。不過說實在這段時間還是有點盲人摸象的感覺，對AT只有個大概概念，模考分數進步也不多，回想起來原因在於自己這段時間其實沒有辦法很仔細去思考AT到底要考些什麼也沒有嘗試自己去做整理與總結。

真正的複習計畫，是從補完習開始。原先計畫是兩個月把GWD 22套做完，兩天一套，再去練習PP。做了兩套左右，發現做題感覺很糟，因此在看到各位大大的建議下，回頭從新對OG11做總結。花了大約2個禮拜總結了SC(按照OG菜鳥手冊那個Excel，標明每題的錯誤點，這個動作真得蠻重要的，因為你之後會常回頭看這份Excel)、1個禮拜總結CR(CR總結後還是沒什麼感覺就是了>_<)、1個禮拜集中火力做了約80%的RC文章。6月就在OG複習之下結束。

7月開始專注在GWD上，每天晚上做一份GWD(V + Q)，隔天晚上檢討(每次都使用這一個工具，進行計時和正確率評估http://www.formosamba.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=1585)
從這個時候開始就養成每天看傷咖的習慣，看著各位前輩累積多年精闢的討論，收穫真得很多。最後一個禮拜發現GWD實在做不完，在老闆的支持下，請了一個禮拜的假，閉關苦讀。

最後這個禮拜，把GWD做和檢討到第21回，安排兩天PP考試(一次美加贈送，一次PP3版本)，後三天則是狂看JJ和準備AWA模版。我把JJ心力幾乎全部花在數學上，因為Math一直是我的罩門(四次模擬考的分數跳動幾乎都是Q在動，V不動，Q上下可以到7~8級距，就知道我多擔心Q了)。最後JJ其實還是沒做完，但對我的幫助已經非常大，模擬考從來沒有到過49這個分數。

拉裡拉雜寫了一堆，總結一下對各個教材的感想：
(1)GWD：在我做得21回中，答V部分題正確率卻一直維持錯15個上下，唯一進
步是答題速度變快了（因為熟悉了部分錯誤答案的長相），我想GWD
的作用最重要的應該是讓你熟悉做題的感覺與掌握pace。另外，我覺得RC和
CR部分和實際考試比起來Verbal確實還蠻接近的(除了CR部分，GWD似乎有
特定錯誤答案長相，Ex.黃冠文老師說的，assumption題目，正確答案99%
會有not出現。)。Q的部分則有蠻大的落差(我覺得GWD比PP和實際考試簡單
些)。
(2)OG：我想真的是基本教材，大家還沒熟悉題型前，確實要好好K完這本書。像
兔大說的，不要把GWD資料浪費在還沒熟悉題型之前。
(3)PP：一直很懊惱沒時間好好做PP，不管是V或Q部分，這部分應該是最真實的
練習。大家或許可以多花點時間在上面。
(4)JJ:有點後悔最後三天才開始看JJ，尤其時數學不好的我，想一題都要花很多時
間，把自己搞得很緊張。JJ在Q和RC部分確實有幫助。但是建議早一點看，一
來數學部分能夠好好仔細算，再來則是考試時比較不會被JJ干擾。

最後，對於在職工作準備的，保持固定的時間準備AT加上有強烈的決心和確定
目標，才能夠完成AT準備，不然很難在工作和唸書間取得平衡(當然這還要天
時、地利與人和配合，Ex.主管與同事的幫忙，專案不要剛好卡到複習計
畫…)。至於，對於考前GWD還是錯題率在15題上下(CD說要低於10題才可能上700)
或是模考總在600~650打轉的，我想考前勤做JJ，維持做題感覺，還是有機會
拿到自己滿意的分數。

Math :因為我數學很弱，其實碰到不少JJ，但是還是沒有表現很好。不過還是要感謝CD上有兩位彙總數學JJ很完整的版友，另外就是kotokolin說得alala牛人，幫我解了不少數學問題。
SC :考蠻多平衡和關代問題，只記得有兩題GWD做過。

weaken
1.咖啡因能夠降低Parkinson’s disease，印象中每天喝得量是越多，越能減少發病機會，問weaken…(說實在答案我覺得都沒有明顯weaken@@)
2.父母應該減少小孩看廣告時間，因為會增加物質佔有慾(material possession)，降低self-esteem….
explain：
1.有一題考下面這個概念，問解釋，為什麼晚上會造成暖化

RC：四篇都是JJ，這幾篇CD上JJ蠻詳盡，大家可以參考看看。
1.market pioneer那一篇，提現有研究資料蒐集上的偏差，作者質疑market pioneer研究結果(有一題考到這一個疑點)。
2.WW II Roosevelt 和Hitler, Churchill and Stalin的比較。
3.心理治療對不同時期American Mexico immigrants研究上的缺乏(需瞭解不同世代的特質)
4.GWD-8-Q4-Q6专家建议缩减临床试验的样本数，只有主旨題一樣，其他都換過題目
