1.請問(E)的問題是不是出在後面的which forced可能像在指涉the dolloar, 造成ambiguity 所以錯? 不然which forced 不是可以修飾前面整個句子嗎?
2. (D)是weakened both by concern... and by growing fears...

這樣有什麼差別嗎? 至少都平衡吧!?

你可以注意到兩個動作是平行的，所以這邊的forcing有伴隨前方動詞一起發生的意思。

-->which forced的which確實會有指代dollar與前方整句話的可能性，但基本上目前作題到現在，ETS習慣用which指代前方整句話的可能性小，因此當此種考點出現時候，應該要注意的是which是否要指代的是前方的先行詞，若是的話，則答案(E)正確，但本題可以很明顯的看出來句意並非要指代dollar，而是要說的是currency如何，因此答案(E)絕對不會對。

至於你說的both by..和by both..我覺得沒有差別，只是要注意平衡的問題。雖然有說過，受詞不同介詞通常不要省略，但這只是一般而言，就算真的省略了介詞，提了公因式，也不過只是語氣較弱，並不改變原本句意(可參考PP1-83：any unexpected growth前就不再重複to了)。

p.s. 雖然我知道ETS 不太喜歡用"which指代前方整句話"
但是我記得美加的莫老師有特別說明which可以這樣用...所以我就想說這可能會考出來說... 沒有想到是要盡量少選

或許這句是不需要還原，或是無法還原，如OG 10e 259，試著讀通259的官方解釋吧
