2. E選的As a result of 錯在哪?
還是determine慣用介係詞by...可是我又有點覺得as a result of 好像好一點，collision又不是天天有...還是我對句意的理解有誤?

這邊的spin 是當which子句中的動詞 主詞是複數 the Earth and other solid planets 所以不用spins, was 是當 the direction 的動詞

那麼請問D, E如何取捨?

D跟E中 的by跟as a result of 在此題都是表原因, 決定 the direction的原因 意思相同
而as a result of wordy,又determine慣用是by 所以E錯囉
