這一題是說在城市中house g逐漸取代mourning g，但是在郊區兩者的數量卻很平衡。城市中mourning g被取代不是因為被house g攻擊，而是無法吃聚集在一起的蟲。
題目要求找出城市和郊區差異的所在，那就在於城市的蟲會聚集，而郊區的不會。所以D提到說蟲會聚集再有燈光的地方，就點出城市和郊區的差異。
