我覺得這句話並沒有imply 用得少成本就少，只是單純說要考慮是不是用量會大幅減少。
也就是，如果會大幅減少 -> 不划算 -> 不買

題目又說 dermatological diagnostic costs were reduced by the
purchase of a new imaging machine that diagnoses skin cancer in such cases as reliably as the tissue tests do 用機器可以省錢

那可以想像一下假如機器的使用量很大的話,省下來的錢才可以超過買機器的錢

所以診所必須判斷使用量有沒有像醫院一樣大, 假如使用量很少的話當然划不來了

看診的時間和機器的使用率沒有絕對的關聯.
