在使用比較級的時候要把自己摒除在外才行，

此題要分辨是否 as old as 或者older than 得看ETS說個明白,
"as old as " indicates equality of age, but the sentece indicates that the Brittany monuments predate the M. monuments by 2000 years.

說的非常清楚....

說到這個，排除自己的比較要加other吧! 這邊沒有加other可以嗎?
如果不是要排除自己的比較! 那這裡把any of 去掉是不是可以呢?
因為any of 感覺只是強調的功能。

我想重點在"nearly 2,000 years"這個字吧!

原句意說: megalithic monuments are nearly 2,000 years as old as any of their supposed Mediterranean predecessors.

如果說 "這些巨石遺跡將近兩千年和地中海的前輩們同樣年紀" 這樣句意就十分怪異

所以應該是"這些巨石遺跡比起地中海的前輩們多了將近兩千年的年紀"

這樣就有比較的意味了,而且這些巨石遺跡其實要比本來認為是前輩的地中海遺蹟要老上兩千年.
