哥倫比亞大學的mba到底好不好啊

爲什麼我問了滿多台灣的同學

大部分都不太知道Columbia MBA是TOP 10

有沒有人可以給我ㄧ些建議

應該是說學校白人非常多吧...compared to other schools..
然後白人都蠻自以為是,造成國際學生或是非白人的學生不是很舒服.
以前也聽過這種說法.

曾聽我們日本同學在Columbia MBA program的朋友(也是日本人)說,
上課因為英文表達不是很順暢,
被白人同學白眼就算了,還有白人直接嗆她:妳可不可以說快一點.

多跟一些校友或是current students聊,
就可以感受到不同學校學生的特性跟文化.

不過columbia在MBA圈是挺有名的學校呀
台灣很多人不知道... 恩... 也很多台灣人不知道wharton... 所以...

Hi, I'm Michael, 1st year student in Columbia Business School and focused on investment banking field. Sorry for getting back late to be your resources. I was in your shoes last year and tried hard to find alumni or current students from Columbia, but hardly got anyone. Therefore, we are more than happy to be your help and look forward to seeing more applicants from Taiwan.

I think Columbia Business School has lots of international students, and in class of 2009 especially, just as Bryan( pandaissocool) said, there are more people dircetly from Taiwan. Also current CBS student here, it is such a wrong perception of saying CBS is very white. In fact, CBS is one of the most international B-school in U.S. Most of my American classmates chose CBS because of the international presence of this school.

Not to mention it's in NY, there is no other place like NY that has so many international people. As an international student myself, I feel very comfortable in school and in the city as the whole big apple is full of internationals. If CBS is considered too white, then I am really not sure which top school could be qualified of not white. :)
