我自己是覺得啦
從找工作的角度看
MBA是一個跳板
(career switch, 在薪水和責任範圍上跳級, 在工作的地區上跳出去)
如果工作經驗不足或太長 , 就沒有辦法將跳板功能極大化
工作經驗質或量上不足-->跳不過去 (除非你能力非常強)
工作經驗太長--> 跳板功能太小就有Mark所謂能不能payoff的問題 (比如說別人用這個跳板跳20公尺, 你只能跳5公尺, 因為前面的你已經花時間跑完了)
MarkHsu \$m[1]:I don't think you guys should blindly encourage older applicants to get an MBA. I know this is an open forum and you are entitled to an opinion, but don't underestimate the influence you may have.
I think the risk preference and opportunity cost for someone 30+ is different from someone who is still in their mid to late 20's.
Are there 30+ year old students at top MBA programs? Yes.
Are they having fun? Probably
But is the payoff there? I am not so sure.
Just remember admissability is different from employability.
