的確任何事情都有不同的角度
大家給意見
可是每個人都不要忘了還是要自己判斷並且多問多查

我自己是覺得啦
從找工作的角度看
MBA是一個跳板
(career switch, 在薪水和責任範圍上跳級, 在工作的地區上跳出去)
如果工作經驗不足或太長 , 就沒有辦法將跳板功能極大化
工作經驗質或量上不足-->跳不過去 (除非你能力非常強)
工作經驗太長--> 跳板功能太小就有Mark所謂能不能payoff的問題 (比如說別人用這個跳板跳20公尺, 你只能跳5公尺, 因為前面的你已經花時間跑完了)

I don't think you guys should blindly encourage older applicants to get an MBA. I know this is an open forum and you are entitled to an opinion, but don't underestimate the influence you may have.

I think the risk preference and opportunity cost for someone 30+ is different from someone who is still in their mid to late 20's.

Are there 30+ year old students at top MBA programs? Yes.
Are they having fun? Probably
But is the payoff there? I am not so sure.

Just remember admissability is different from employability.

我自己當初也是在米國念個普普的MBA 那時MBA很熱門2003 申請不到啥好學校 就來啦 其實我覺得很難說 好或不好 因為我本身實力不好 UNDER念的是文的 又不是在大公司呆過 所以就想好八 算算ROI 學費便宜很多 誰知後來到這學校 大家都是念FINACE 來招生也都是FINANCE 我根本也沒法競爭 所以就去念DUAL DEGREE 專攻國際管理 但是 我的朋友們呆在那 發展都不錯 我那屆機乎所以國際學生都留下來上班 除了公司SPONSER必須回去的以外 有些學校 雖然不是很有名 但是REGIONAL NETWORK 還是很不錯 端看你是不是有做好準備工作

GMAT550真的有點不大夠 把CD上機經背熟 應該可以六百 好好再加油

當然有人澆澆冷水讓大家警醒一點也好，
不過也沒必要太過害怕，想申請就申請，像克拉克說的做足準備就去。

反正考GMAT時，
總會有人說大齡考生反應不敏捷記憶力衰退所以考好的機會小；

等你考好了，
總會有人說大齡考生不受青睞，學校喜歡年輕耐操的；

然後等你申請上了，
就有人說admissability is different from employability；

然後等你也找到了好工作，
可能也會有人說找到工作不代表什麼，景氣不好的話薪資較高的大齡同事會率先被開除。

人生就是這樣啊，不用因為有風險就裹足不前；
我弟去申請時，一堆人說他年紀太小、工作資歷太短、職級太低、GMAT不高，
結果還是申請到了名校，然後還進了MBA學生最想進的前三大公司。
要跟自己作對的話，隨時都有話可講，那還不如好好準備、盡全力一試。
