Hello,

I have a question.
I already got a MBA from NTU. But in fact, it is not "true" MBA.
My major is Information Management and most class I taken is about Information Technology.In addition, my thesis is also pure technical. (wireless network & math model).
Just because my department is in Management so NTU gave me MBA degree.
I work at a global IT company as an engineer now.
Now I want to pursue a real MBA to become an PM or Consultant.
I alreay pass IBT and GMAT.
Can I apply to UCLA Anderson?
I browse its page and found they dont accept people who got MBA before. I am very worried. Thank you.

Below please find the response from admission office.

Unfortunately our university will not award a duplicate degree, so if this guy's diploma says "MBA" then he is not eligible to apply for our program. If it says "Master of Management" or something like that, then it is fine. But of course UCLA Graduate Division has to see the diploma, and if it says MBA then they won't let us admit him.

From the response, it is the UCLA Graduate Division that makes the decision regarding duplicate degree. Maybe you can check their website http://www.ganet.ucla.edu or call them 310-825-3919.

I remember Anderson will send out one email about the link and log-in ID for the applicant to check his/her status. If you have not received the email after you submit your application, just send an email to admission office.

相信是相當競爭的一年

我個人就是跟James面試
除了基本的問題之外
他也會針對你的回答
引申出一些問題
跟你討論對這些問題的看法
必要時也會引導你的思考
所以
除了基本的interview問題之外
也要有心理準備臨場動動腦 :)

呵呵，anderson的essay規定是 please limit to 2 pages, double-spaced，
並沒有說字號，第一題我寫得兇，發現擠不下了，
已經試過新細明體是擠最多字的字體，還是放不下，
不知道能不能用十一號字呢？呵呵。（NYU真的有規定要用12號字耶）

如果真的塞不下
或許是一個可行的辦法
