我對(B)的理解是：同樣的汙染物，在別的城市被認為和高疾病發生率無關→ 所以研究者說的說法錯誤

對於(B)的意思…(不是逐字翻譯)

兩個城市...彼此之間的汙染(found in Harborville's water )是相互獨立(互不影響)
-->因此可以排除掉相互傳播感染的可能
所以強化了…水汙染的唯一可能性

(C)非常清楚的表達：發現感染案例是在before Harborville's water became polluted，所以當然就是其它的可能囉！

我是覺得結構上that子句修飾 pollutants，那句子就會變成The same type of pollutants have independently been linked to occurrences in other towns of high rates of the disease.

就是說：同樣的污染物被認為獨立於及他城市的高疾病發生率

所以說是我對句意的瞭解錯誤嚕 @_@

希望好心人幫忙分析一下句子結構

C大…你翻譯的沒錯呀！我只是用了白話一點的方式~

「同樣的污染物被認為獨立於及他城市的高疾病發生率」
「兩個城市...彼此之間的汙染(found in Harborville's water )是相互獨立(互不影響) 」
可能我描述的不夠嚴謹(兩個城市應改成-->H城與其它城市；還有汙染物沒強調相同^^)~但重點在於汙染物是"獨立"也就是互不影響~

由於獨立，所以強化了"個別"的特性，因此排除一些空氣或人與人之間等等傳播的可能！

有問題的話再來繼續討論○羅！

下午重讀了一下句子，感覺應該要這樣翻

同樣的污染物獨立地連結於其他城市的疾病高發生率 -> 表示沒有其他因素造成其他城市的疾病高發生率 ~ support

之前一直把independantly當作形容詞，滿腦子都想著獨立事件 ；搞了半天原來修飾link
