再看看one和答案C的others....不就都是在高濃度有毒金屬土壤裡生長茂盛的植物嗎?

事實上 這個 others 可以代表太多無關的植物

正確
所以如果能確定那些其它植物, 生長於高濃度有毒金屬土壤的那些, 都有produce histidine，那就大大的支持(C)嚕！

由於題目只說到A certain cultivated herb 只是其中一個group，如果又能確定其它的都能produce histidine，就更加的確定produce histidine是生長於高濃度有毒金屬土壤的重要關鍵！！

稍微想了一下C.D.E
C:感覺是無關選項，題目是the herb’s high histidine production is what allows it to grow in metal-rich soils，可選項C說有這種物質的植物還有很多種，可是會不會達成題目中的假設和"有多少種植物"也能產生該種物質無關。

比方說有監獄犯A.B.C...他們的性格很像，甚至入監服刑的理由也一樣，現在假設警方在偵辦另ㄧ件案子，他們假設A持有某種武器能夠去殺人，然後他們發現B.C也同樣持有該種武器，總不能說，因為這三人很像，而且都持有這種武器，所以推斷出人是A拿這種武器去殺的。

D，其實是一個很誘人的選項，不過資訊沒有給的很充分，這裡沒有揭露histidine這種物質會不會跑到土壤裡面，也許可以(那就強化)；也許不行只能留在根部還哪裡的器官(那麼就有可能有其他被這種植物釋放的物質造成土壤性質轉變而不是histidine)，而且文章沒有揭露這種植物是否只會釋放histidine這種物質到土壤去而不會釋放其他物質，同樣，如果是就強化，如果不是那可能就是另有他因所以無法強化。 但是文章沒有提供這些資訊，所以沒辦法這麼確定就一定可以強化。

E，這個寫法就是植物在不成長時histidine會減少或不釋放histidine，相當於非Q則非P，間接強化P造成Q這個情況。所以比較起來，E好些。

請教過美加的江璞老師後， 正確答案選項應該是 (D) 因為 (D) proves that the release of histidine will overcome the toxic material; therefore, not only the herb can grow but all other previously unservivable plants can grow as well.
