答案是C, 但我選A, 理由如下:

(1)因為已經說明有6個gross, 那全部pencil的數量不就是 6x12x12

(2)每個box裡有3個dozen??? 不明白它的意思...在這, box, gross, dozen的關係是??

這題是在考英文.
Gross, dozen, 指的是數量. 1 dozen = 12.

(1) 給的只有箱子的數量, 所以你最多也只能算出有多少箱.
6X12x12=864箱
可是一箱裡有多少筆沒說

(2)翻譯是一箱裡面有3個dozen的筆. 所以3x12=36筆/箱. 但是(2)沒說有多少箱

1 & 2合起來就知道整個貨運到的筆是:
(36筆/箱) x (864箱) = 全部的筆數量
