CD上爭議答案為(A)與(E)

我個人覺得是(A)，因為(A)看起來不太好的起方只有passive-voice，而(E)看起來不太好的地方有logical-predication(regardless of their form or function不知在形容Non-Australians或是形容objects)，而根據我做題的經驗來看，logical-predication的嚴重性比passive-voice強多了。

不知道各位是否同意這題的答案應為(A)?

就把C, D, E給殺了^o^

B的單複數移轉，前面是their 後面是any object，就刪去

但是可知 CD 上是如何選 (E) 不選 (C) 嗎 (i.e. ever since 1788 放句首跟句尾會決定選項的命運)?

我看起來CE沒什麼文法上問題

Ever since放在前面, 意思是從1788年....

E. Non-Australians have called all aerodynamically enhanced, curved objects made for throwing boomerangs ever since 1788, regardless of their form or function, from
Ever since 1788, 表示non-Australian叫這個object為boomerangs這件事情從1788年

一個講的是從那一年, 一個是講某個動作開始發生

CDE看起來都很討厭, 因為, regardless of their form or function, 可能修飾前面, 也有可能修飾後面的when European....的歧意

個人覺得CDE很不漂亮的地方, 在於把non-Australian變主詞後, "被叫成boomerangs" 看起來非常不清楚.... 因為會和前面的made for throwing 連在一起...讓人看起來以為是throwing boomerangs

(C) (D) (E) 不選,因為 since 和 from 意思重疊 (i.e. 不簡潔)

答案確定是A, 因為我在PP做到了這題, ETS給A

B. 確實因為代名詞refer錯誤, 應該用sigular
C. their form or function 這裡的their 到底是refer back to "non-Australians" or "all aerodynamically enhanced, curved objects" 很難確定, 但若是refer back to non-Australians 那意思就錯了. 指代模糊
