今天大早就收到從Adcom的來信,告知我被錄取了,當時只有一個念頭 "會不會是我哪個混蛋朋友看我不夠心急還開無聊玩笑~"
9pm CST 結果正式在網上發布, 我在GSB網站上再三確認後, 終於可以很高興的說: I'm IN at GSB!

Background: AT: 760/6.0. W/E: 5 Yr @ US Telecom, 1.2Yr @ TW 替代役. Undergrad: 2nd/3rd tier State school, 3.46 GPA in Computer Science Engineering

申請經驗: 首先很感謝傷咖上的朋友對我在申請這條路上提供的幫助, 尤其是在這上面能讓我認識到一群跟我志同道合的workshop好友們, 在我最徬徨的時候總能適時的提供意見和鼓勵,這是我覺得回台灣來收穫最大的.

我的背景以GSB申請者來講並不突出,是屬於大宗的engineering pool. 所以我在package裡面最強調的,就是我不是個typical anything. Not a typical engineer, not a typical Taiwanese, I don't fit into your pigeon holes, I am just Jimmy. 而很幸運的,GSB essay第二,三題剛好讓我有機會能把我這個概念用不同的方式呈現. 在準備package的過程裡,我一直以GSB學長Wayne講過的一句話當準則: 'You want them to remember ONE thing about you from your package!'

Essay的部分我跟workshop的好友們不停的討論修改訂正,真是人多好辦事, 幾個人聊一聊一些新的方向,寫法就出現了. 而在寫作內容裡,我只能講句老話 "Be true to yourself". 如果連自己都說服不了,為什麼你會覺得可以說服別人呢?

申請MBA的過程對我來說是個重新深度認識自己的process, 很高興有了好的結果,如果有朋友有任何申請上的問題,小弟目前很閒(等退伍),很樂意幫忙.

最後要感謝GSB牛人Sean/Reo 在面試上面給我的建議,太有用了!

Chicago GSB said in early Dec. that they'd advance the process and announce the outcome on 12/19.
I'm glad that they're people of their words!
