想請問for centuries的位置問題
在PP詳解中, 註明AD都有for centuries修飾位置不合理的問題,實在不了解是那裡不合理, 我以為for centuries是在修飾動詞has been slowly weaving, 可否請大大解釋是那裡不合理呢？？

可能是會誤解成這樣吧: D.that has for centuries slowly woven its way through the roots of trees and has (for centuries) become

其實我對於這一題，和註解的想法不同耶。

(A) 主要錯誤來在於", to become"，因此句不表目的。但此處的Verb form 為 "has been...weaving..."

而 (C) (D) 最主要的差異還是來自 Verb Form，造成 (D) 有 distortion。

(C) "that has been....weaving.." ==> 雖然是過去完成，但強調整個動作一直處於進行中
(D) "that has .....woven..." ==> 已完成

如過照 dibert8 所言，(C) "....for centuries has become..." 不是更會造成修飾歧義嗎？

雖然我也覺得 (A) (D) for centuries 的位置有點怪，但我還是覺得主要錯誤是因為 Verb Form 的關係。

不知我這樣想到底對不對呢....？

題外話，GMAC 好像很愛強調 fungus 『一直長』的狀態，像 OG11 Q39 也是 "extending"....。（好像聯想太多了！哈。）
