下面這題看不太懂題目的意思, 他也沒說hiker是不是已經先跑了一段距離, 或是跑了多少時間, 後面"after passing her"是說一會合cyclist 就馬上停下來讓hiker先跑五分鐘嗎? 那怎麼會又要等hiker catch up?

有誰可以幫我解釋一下嗎? Thanks a lot!

cyclist跑的比hiker快.
當cyclist趕上hiker, 雙方繼續走之後5分鐘, cyclist stop.
幾分鐘後hiker可以趕上cyclist.

(20-4)x5/60 = 5分鐘內相差的距離 = 4/3
(4/3 x 60) / 4 = hiker需要趕上的分鐘 = 20 = (C)

"wait for the hiker 5 minutes after passing her" is different from
"wait for the hiker for 5 minutes after passing her"
