我手上有schweser notes 2005版本的
不知道 用它來準備2008年的test 會不會太out of date?!
需要 買較新的版本嗎
另外 大家都有 去買 書上提到的calculator嗎?

建議還是得買最新的 NOTES，Schweser網站說明07、08兩年的差距有一定程度了，更何況是05與08的差異。
報名費都繳了，這點錢就別省了吧!機算機普遍都買TI的，不過那時考試倒是有看到另外一款hp的計算機。
Changes in the 2008 CFA® Curriculum
CFA Institute has once again significantly changed the CFA® curriculum from the previous testing year. In anticipation of these changes, Schweser instructors and content specialists have begun updating the 2008 Schweser Study Tools that will begin shipping in late September.
Below is an outline of the changes to each level of the 2008 CFA curriculum.
Level 1 Curriculum Changes
Over 40% of the Learning Outcome Statements for the 2008 Exam are either
completely new (100+) or have been reworded to varying degrees (100+). Furthermore, 14 new readings have been added, and 13 have been dropped.
Level 2 Curriculum Changes
The Level 2 curriculum has changed by about 30%. A total of 19 new readings have been added, 5 readings have been substantially revised, and 21 readings from 2007 have been dropped entirely. Alternative Investments are now part of the Level 2 curriculum for the first year, and the number of Quantitative Methods and Portfolio Management LOS have nearly doubled.
Level 3 Curriculum Changes
The Level 3 curriculum has changed by about 35%. A total of 15 readings are either new or have been substantially revised, and 22 readings from 2007 have been dropped entirely. In addition, the topic weightings have changed significantly. Economics is now a part of Portfolio Management, and Quantitative Methods has been removed.
Due to these changes, it is vitally important for you to utilize the essential complement to the CFA reference materials: 2008 Schweser Study Solutions and Instruction. Up-to-date Study Solutions and expert Instruction provide the efficiency and focus you need for success on the CFA Exam!
