不過我也有想問的地方是，(C) something 後面是不是省略了 that 了?不知我這樣看有沒有錯..

是的,省略的 that 是關代受格.

(姑且不論what及such as修飾不清楚的問題)
我一直有疑問：很多人認為這裡因為沒有one 所以不能有the other
可是"反藍的部份"不就是one嗎?
One：前面已經提過天花(smallpox)
the other infections：其他兩個傳染病 measles and yaws.
所以說應該是要把the other的the拿掉才對吧!

D老...!你說的沒錯!
當初我在做這題的時候 因為A選項是原句有the other
我就一直覺的說原句指的是"其他"傳染病(排除前面提的smallpox)
因此才認為C把the other拿掉改變句意...(逃...!!)
不過後來細看句意 的確沒有the other出現的必要。
不過因為PP破解版說這裡the other錯是因為前面沒有one
我才覺得奇怪 因為我認為smallpox就是那個"one"
只是要從多數中排除一個應該用 one...other Ns (把the拿掉)才對!!
