不過看了好幾次,還是有時忍不住想選C
而og 的解釋是:Choice C suggests that migraine suffers do not naturally avoid the foods at issue.
有一點不懂...

(A)的答案就像是 "方法不成立"
因為無法知道究竟是吃了哪些食物導致allergic response

(C) 有support之意支持"方法成立"

因為如果可以得知是因為吃 the foods that they most enjoy eating
那方法可成立只要不讓吃那些食物的話則可避免過敏

方法成立 migraine headaches <-- food allergies 則 support conclusion 確實是他因造成

如果禁止吃"the foods that they most enjoy eating"
但還是會有 migraine headaches 那究一定是其他原因導致 migraine headaches

怎麼覺得這題好饒舌???
我知道support the conclusion,就是支持有他因的存在,但,卻不知道他因是什麼?
是the foods that they most enjoy eating ?是我英文太不好了嗎?有點昏頭....
另外提到方法成立與否?這個概念是?

整題的意思大概為食物過敏被認為會引起有些病人偏頭痛...不過後來發現不讓病人吃那些曾經讓他們過敏的食物,仍然會發生頭痛...因此做出結論為除了食物過敏外,還有其他原因造成病人偏頭痛...題目要weaken結論!!

這時候要浮現兩個思路...第一要將重點放在跟食物有關的選項(針對性),第二要尋找答案中仍支持食物過敏為主要引起偏頭痛的原因
由(A)答案仍說明是某些食物過敏造成偏頭痛,只是因為目前仍無法詳細判斷到底是哪些食物引起過敏的!!所以就weaken結論中所謂還有其他因素造成!!
至於(c)說明那些會引起病人偏頭痛的食物是他們最愛吃的...如同OG所說,僅是說明病人不會自然地避免那些食物而已!!

我猜你想選C的原因是認為病人仍會偷偷吃那些他們最愛吃的食物,所以可以weaken結論,證明仍是食物引起的!!
如果是這樣的話,已經有一點陷入主觀思想,在AT中CR追求的是客觀的證據事實,所以盡量不要過度推論,(C)中僅是說明那些食物他們最愛吃,之後禁止後,到底病人有沒有遵守規定,就沒有明確說明了

如果不是這樣的話,或許你可以說說為什麼你選C的原因,可能會比較清楚唷!!

我想這大概就是我的毛病吧，過度推論。我錯的另一題（Q67）也是犯了這毛病。
我看到ｃ的答案就想到導致偏頭痛的食物就在他們最喜歡的食物中，感覺起來好像是支持食物造成了偏頭痛，醬子想是不是怪怪的？

結論是有其他原因
要weaken就是講沒其他原因
的確是食物導致頭痛

A食物有潛伏期要數天後才發病
直接weaken結論

C是無關選項
有沒有吃喜歡的食物又如何
沒有講這些食物會不會發病
不能自己推
會犯過度推論

再看了一次c選項,c選項是說"導致偏頭痛的食物就在他們最喜歡的食物中"沒錯。
(c)Many patients report that the foods that cause them migraine headaches are among the foods that they most enjoy eating.
但我們並不知道他們有沒有吃<--醬子說應該就對了吧,就如同liwuu說的
"(C)中僅說明那些食物他們最愛吃,之後禁止後,到底病人有沒有遵守規定,就沒有明確說明了"

OG 有很多類似題
喜不喜歡是另一回事~ 如果certain food (even patients' favorite ones) cause migraine ~ 那麼只要不吃那些就不會有migraine 了

Conclusion 說的是有其他除了食物以外的因素~ 如此依看, C)不僅沒有weaken 也實在沒和conclusion 有關聯
