首先跟你講一下你題目畫線的地方不對了....

是從the之後開始...不包括the...因為要是有包括到the那D跟E就不對了...

Despite the fact that一定要有the...是慣用法..所以我在引言已經幫妳改過... :)

我的想法是「...the number of people who purchase.....」 中的who不可以省略....還記得N1 of N2 關代嗎?這裡的who可以更清楚的指代people而非number...

其二...我一直有印象說the fact that是贅詞....老莫說少選吧....

我想妳一定不滿意的.....那再請agk大哥出來指導指導..... 8-|

convinced that.... many travelers will still use travel agents.

如果用
convinced that.........many traveler would still use travel agents...

句意不同... airline executives 想要說的是 他們相信一定還是有人用travel agents..如果改了 would 那就消弱了他們堅持的態度...........

that 的位置在AB兩個選項不一樣
A. airline executives are convinced that , just as ......., many travelers will
A的just as 這句用來類比旅客會怎樣....
B. airline executives are convinced, just as , that ....
B的just as 在that 之前.... 類比的對像就變成了airline executives,句意就變的很怪囉
至於用would or will 我覺得micht的解釋很不錯...

我認為that 位置應該不影響選答案，理由是插入句你想怎麼插都可以，只要文法句意對，插哪都可
