I would like to thank David for all his hard work and his enthusiasm on helping and on assisting all of us here. Yet, I would like to raise a couple concerns that I have noticed this year. Obviously, David is a very successful man. He has landed a job with one of the most prestigious firm in his industry in the US. However, I could not help but notice that in David's signature section, he has attached a personal website that directly links to his personal business website. David had attached only his personal blog which I thought it was appropriate to share one's personal life or opinions. Nevertheless, in the new David's website (
http://www.mbacareerfitter.com), fees and charges are mentioned. Thus, I thought that this would be more than a personal sharing website, and that the website is more like a small business advertisement. Hence, I do not know other web masters would agree with me, but personally I think such an action is inappropriate since we do not promote business activities here. Secondly, owning one's private small business is totally fine as long as one's current employer is informed and is not against such activities carried by its employees. However, I do see a conflict of interesting since David is working at a career consulting firm and David's website hosts such activities as well. Considering recent GMAT scandals, users at Formosa MBA evidently do not want to draw any federal attentions to this website since this website is not strictly legal from the US federal government's point of view.
